As it turned out, as I expected, both of the dancing games for Xbox Kinect were the best selling games of 2010, granted it was a short run. This was reported by my friend on his Kinect blog.

What's all this I hear about Kinect Dancing Games?
Much like the Nintendo Wii and also the Sony PS3, the Kinect is also a treasure box of games. Certainly one of its highlights is the Kinect dance games. Because the Kinect has just been released, Kinect games are still limited when compared to other established names in the marketplace. Dance Central is among the few video games available right now. This can be a dance game where you could dance to all your heart's content, if you are a dancer or not.
It's been marketed as the best party game titles ever. The goal of the game is almost always to follow a list of dance moves correctly. You will end up being scored using the way you dance and the accuracy of one's dance steps. That is totally different from other dance games that simply need one to move your arms and your feet. Get a Kinect Dance Game for the Holidays
It's official, the Kinect Dancing games are going to be on alot of peoples christmas list this year. Microsoft did a good job in making the XBox and kinect available for the masses just in time for the holidays.
I think Dance Central is going to be the best game since most of the songs you will already know. It is really great that they have found a way to get kids up off the couch with video games.
The other good dancing game is Dance Masters. Although the songs for Dance masters aren't as known, the big advantage to this video game is that you get to download new content and dance moves as they become available.

Everyone can have fun with Kinect Dance Games
Today I wanted to take a few minutes and show everyone a one of the latest technologies from Microsoft called Kinect. It currently hooks up with your XBox 360 and controls your XBox, DVD's, Games and other functions with a wave of your hand. Whats more, it can recognize you from say -your brother sitting next to you. Some say Microsoft has plans to integrate this technology with computers, tv, or anything interactive that needs to be controlled.
In tests, Kinect proved to be very accurate and able to keep up with game play in a way that's almost scary. Some of the funnest games for it are Dance Central and Dance Masters. These two Kinect dance games will provide hours of fun and are sure to be on the XBox top games for Christmas 2010 lists.
Dance Central provides tons of the latest R&B, Hip-Hop and Dance Music. Dance Masters allows you to download new tracks, but the songs are more unknown. So they both have their pro's and con's.
Dance Central is from harmonix. Harmonix is the ame creator of Rock-Band and Guitar-Heroes games. Dance Masters is from Konami who has alot of experience with dance games. They are the same creator as Dance Dance Revolution.
There are sure to be more Kinect dance games in the future as they are good for your health as well as being fun to play. In the meantime you might try some Kinect Fitness games.
